Thank you John Battle – our talented and dedicated videographer who keeps outdoing himself!

John joined the Avalon Singers in 2009 when his lady became an Alto in the choir.  When he arrived, we were in the habit of filming some concerts and sound recording everything.  Making a CD was in. John was so keen to take over the filming and each year his committment grew as he added more. Look no further than the yearly progression of our YouTube video's. In addition though, John records a few of our final rehearsals and many of our sing outs at Senior Homes. We don't post those to our public YouTube page - but it's an invaluable resource for us to have and review.

John is part of the team that shows up with a smile each season as we ready for our performances. John films us from all angles, using lights and backdrops and mics. All sorts of equipment gets carted in!  Then, he goes home and expertly edits our concerts for our popular YouTube Channel. (233,085+ views) .
