The Avalon Singers are an all female non-profit community service group – ages 15 - 100
Our repertoire is diverse: Show tunes, popular, traditional, spiritual and classical.
Concerts are posted on our website and YouTube.
Rehearsals are recorded and posted weekly on our website: Practice was never easier!
Laurie Walker, an award-winning choral director, is our Conductor.
We meet on Thursday's at 7:15pm. January-April, and September-December.
Westshore Location. We have singers coming from all parts of Victoria.
New members accepted in January and September.
Singing experience is an asset but only the love of singing is essential.
No auditions for new members. Phew!

Please consider joining a new session in either September or January so we may all learn the new music together... but DO join!
Rehearsals leading to our 2010 Spring Concerts will start up January 14th, 2010.
We'll break for summer and resume again the very first Thursday of September to get ready for Winter Concerts.
Your commitment to any season would be to regularly attend Thursday rehearsals January through April and/or September through December.
You're encouraged and welcome to just try it out for a couple of weeks.
It will make you smile! LOTS!
REHEARSE: Thursday's 7:15pm - 9:30pm January - April / September - December
COST: $25/month plus fundraising efforts (subject to change) - but we're non profit.
There is a deposit for the music required and you'll need a blouse too!
LOCATION: Church Of The Advent, 510 Mount View
DIRECTIONS: Near the Dairy Queen and Shell station in Colwood on Sooke Lake Rd. (Old Island Hwy)
Turn at the traffic light on Mount View - It's right behind the Shell station. Lots of Parking.
